CALI POW WOW 2010 PICTURES

It was six months in the making. It might as well be a tradition. Whenever Pam (xppinkxx) comes down to California, she organizes one night where blogger babes meet and actually have heart-to-heart conversation over good food. The first pow wow was two years ago and it seemed like it was just yesterday since it all happened.

Like my first pow wow attendance, I never knew what quite to expect, but at the end of it all, I always leave with new friends, new memories, and not to mention goodies. This third pow wow was bigger, and pinker. More bodacious babes, both old and new. Since I haven't been up to my blogging game, I didn't know a handful of the girls. So many new fresh faces, I kinda wished that I was able to talk to everyone and got to know the newer girls! But alas, the group was split in half. Nonetheless, it was fun catching up with familiar faces. I always find it amusing how I've only "know" these girls' personalities based on what I read on their blog or tweets, but they're exactly how they portray themselves online. No surprises there and everyone just got along fine and dandy and united by one passion. Makeup unites girls together :).

I really love how even though I've fallen off the face of the beauty blogging world, I've kept some ties with these girls. As some I see as the sisters that I never had but wanted. I'm just really gushing how sweet these ladies are! And again, thank you Pam for hosting this super awesome dinner!

The pow wow was held at Pink Taco inside the Century City Mall in LA. Everyone was required to dress in pink, hence the pink theme going on with our outfits. Everyone was stylin that night. Makeup and hair on point. About 20 girls in attendance, it was insaneeee!
