Barneys New York 2013 Sale Picks: Shoes

Welp, it's that time of the where Barneys New York have their sale where they markdown some of their designer things up to 40 percent off. Last year was when I got my red ostrich Alexander Wang coin purse (and this year, the black one is on sale).

I obviously perused the shoe section first, some what hoping that I won't find anything I like. Sadly, that was not the case. I just tried to narrow my selection down as much as I can.

Summer Summer Summertime

2. Loeffler Randall Lolly $295 Sale $179
4. Alexander Wang Alek Sandals $465 Sale $279
5. Alexander Wang Cara Sandals $495 Sale $299

So since the temperature has been rising lately, my eyes are on these cute sandals. If it were life and death and I had to pick only one out of the set, my indecisiveness might actually cost my life. They're just all so different and would bring different appeal to an outfit. I love the MMM Neon Band sandals for obvious reason, it has that neon band. If that doesn't scream summer, I don't know what will. Lolly has the black, silver, and nude all in one. It can actually work with either casual or business casual outfits. Pierre Hardy, c'mon the toe ring part of the sandal is enough reason to get it. It's so spunky. The A. Wangs... they're ankle strapped sandals... need I say more? The Saint Laurents... I mean look at the buckles on top of it, so adorable.

Happy Feet

1. Opening Ceremony Penny Boot $380 Sale $229
2. Loeffler Randall Evie $375 Sale $229 (also available in cream
3. Rag & Bone Brogue $495 Sale $299 (also available in tan)
5. Alexander Wang Mackenzie $625 Sale $379

And as far as the other shoe family goes, that's another dilemma on it's own. But, I think I've mentally narrowed my choices down to the 3.1 Phillip Lim Diamond D'Orsay and the Alexander Wang Mackenzie. I've been looking for D'Orsay styled shoes (flats or heels), and Phillip Lim has even combined it with mesh! As far as the Mackenzies go, I meaaaan, the shoes are gorgeous! You can't really go wrong if you wear them with pants, dress, or a skirt. And they could easily transition in to the fall season. I think I'm in love.

  1. You know, I can't ever resist a shoe post. Great picks from Barney's. We don't have Barney's in Seattle, at least not close to my part of town, but it's a nice store, with great stuff. Love the sandals you chose, especially the nude ones.

Thanks for sharing! And hooray to nice weather.

When you get a chance, please take a look at my beauty and skin care blog. Thank you!

  2. I really like those Phillip Lims...The neutral, neon sandals are cute too!
