Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Looks for Any Occasion

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Outfit Looks

I'm so happy to kick off 2018 with a partnership with Sephora inside JCPenney and Fenty Beauty for my very first Los Angeles meet-up that took place on January 13 at the Glendale Galleria. Not a lot of people might know this, but the Glendale Galleria was my old stomping grounds back in high school. I remember getting dropped-off by my parents at this mall, so I can hang out with my friends. Who knew that I'll be having a meet-up here years later! It's a bit surreal.

I had such an amazing time meeting some of you in person. I really appreciate every single one you who took a couple of hours out of your day to hang out with me. It really warms my heart that I was able to finally meet some of you IRL. And I'm so happy that I got to share with you some of my favorite Fenty Beauty products, especially the new Mattemoiselle Lipsticks (and the 14 creamy matte shades to choose from!) Ever since I've tried them out, these lipsticks have been a staple in my purse and the ones I reach out to the most lately. I'm a little obsessed with how comfortable and non-drying these matte lipsticks wear throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who sent their photos for me to share on this post!

During the meet-up, Yadi, the Sephora inside JCPenney Education Manager did a quick demo and touched up my make-up with some of the Fenty Beauty face products. I already love and use the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Foundation (my shade is 240 warm), but I quickly realized how my makeup vanity was missing the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo in Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby with the Cheek Hugging Highlight Brush. Needless to say, my glow was on point after she swept the highlighter on my cheeks, and I just had to pick them up afterwards.

After the quick demo, I shared some of my favorite Mattemoiselle shades. Here are my top three shades that I've been loving lately that have helped me transform my looks created with some pieces that I recently picked up at JCPenney.

Freckle Fiesta

On my lips: Freckle Fiesta (Spiced Terra Cotta) // Top: Libby Edelman Floral Print Dress

Freckle Fiesta is my favorite shade! I wore this lip color in a previous Instagram post, and I received a lot of compliments on it. I decided to pair this lip color again with this floral dress with a red orangey floral detail. Since the print of this dress is so bold, I wanted to pair it with a fun color. I didn't want to stick with a nude lip. I wanted my lip color to complement the dress not compete with it. I thought that this terra cotta color nicely complements the red-orange floral details of the dress. Freckle Fiesta just gives a bit of an edge to this feminine dress. I love this look to wear for brunch with my girlfriends.

Spanked

On my lips: Spanked (Dusty Rose) // Top: Liz Claiborne Cowl Neck Sweater

Spanked has been my go-to easy breezy lip color. For days where I just want a bit of oomph on my lips, Spanked has me covered. For this look, I wanted to pair this lip color with this rose blush colored cowl neck sweater for a winter date night look. The sweater is cozy enough for snuggling during the colder weather here in LA, but the pretty blush rose color is what drew me in to pick this sweater up. For date nights, I normally like to keep my lip colors very simple, so I don't have to worry about red lipstick on my teeth. The dusty rose color makes a great "my-lips-but-better" kind of look.

Shawty

On my lips: Shawty (Warm Chestnut) // Top: TDC Long Sleeve Mesh Mock Neck Top

For the days that I'm feeling a little edgy, a little 90s, Shawty is my type of shade. Shawty just takes me back to the 90s without looking dated. This lip color gives me that extra sass in my look. It was only fitting to pair this lip color with this star-print mesh top as a nod to my favorite era for a slightly grungy look. And can I just point out how this top is awesome for having thumb sleeves? This was also the outfit that I wore for my meetup.

Again, thank you so much to everyone who came to my first meet-up! It really meant the world to me to meet you in person.

  1. I love all the outfits Anne. They are all so cute. You picked the right shades for the outfits.

S1NGLE- I would wear it with a white flowy top, light washed denim shorts, cream colored cardigan and some Birkenstocks for a fun date at the beach.

CANDY VENOM- A dark floral long sleeve maxi dress, with a soft French braid to the side and a soft smokey eye for a outdoor wedding.

WARM CHESTNUT- A mockneck black dress, sleek low pony tail, silver hoop earrings and a very minimal eye look.

My favorite outfit is the one you paired with SHAWTY! I love this look because it’s definitely something I would wear. It looks comfortable yet stylish.

    Top 3 Mattemoiselle Shades:

    1. PMS - This color is definitely a color I would wear most often. I would probably pair it with a relaxed black sweater and dark jeans. I love wearing this type of outfit because it’s effortless but you still look put together.

    2. CLAPBACK - This would be such a fun color to wear without being too bright. I would probably pair this with a patterned black tunic, black leggings and heeled booties for a fun night out!

    3. MA’DAMN - This color looks like the perfect shade of red. I would pair this lip with a white dress with little gold detailing. I would definitely wear this look for a date night!

  9. Actually, numerous individuals spend a lot on shower and body items to feel and look great and battle the maturing procedure. Furthermore, is there any good reason why we shouldn't? What's more, others spend a lot of cash on their clothing - just for appearance.Plasticspot

  10. Beauty is also more holistic than specific as a beautiful object is judged as a whole package that is appealing rather than judged on the basis of its parts. 조루증

  13. Wow, cool post. I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real hard work to make a great article... but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though.
