Lookbook: Leopard Romper (Simple)

My boyfriend graduated last week, and this was my outfit for the day. I've been really loving rompers lately since they're so much easier to wear sometimes.

Lookbook and Photoblog: Obsessed With Leopard Print and A Day at the NYX Cosmetics HQ!

This past Friday, I had the chance to visit the NYX Cosmetics headquarters for an interview.

And the moment I entered the showroom, my eyes widen and my jaw dropped. Then wished my room was half as awesome like it.

Almay Liquid Liner (Review)

Prior to my beauty expeditions, I have stayed away from liquid eyeliners. They were never my favorite because my hand lacks steadiness to apply it which makes my eye makeup looking like a mess. But after a few practices with gel liners, I was able to transition to using liquid eyeliners like a pro.

Makeup Tutorial: Nicki Minaj Super Bass Inspired Look

You guys should know by now my self-professed love for Nicki Minaj's talent and swag. I really love her daring style, and she just doesn't give a hoot of what everyone thinks.

A few days ago, I saw her latest video, Super Bass, and I'm not one to wear lime green eyeshadows, but this video definitely encouraged me just to do that. I also wore this look as seen on my previous haul video.

Lookbook: Pop of Yellow

Floral printed dress, Forever 21 (buy similar here)
Khaki knitted cardigan, H&M
Yellow skinny belt, H&M (buy similar here)
Boots, Forever 21
Bow, given by elleandish

I've been on a bow kick lately. If you watch my latest haul video, you'll see that I picked up a few more bow accessories. I'm going to hold Janelle for this since this kinda started since she gave me the bow I'm wearing on this post. It's one of my favorite accessories right now, and I feel so kawaii wearing it!

By the way, it's unintentional that I've been wearing floral printed things lately. I just really wear what I feel is comfortable and what my mood agrees with.

It's finally the weekend! Happy Friday!!!

Revlon's Bloom With Captivating Color Mini Tea Party Nail Polish Set (Review and Swatches)

The other day, Holly and I made a trip to Walgreens. And we saw this on the display.

Revlon recently came out with their latest nail polish colors for spring, and this particular set definitely caught my eye. Holly was so sweet that she got this set for me :).

Lookbook: Bright Yellow and Floral Print

I figured that if I'm going to experiment with my clothes, might as well go bold.

Leopard print skinny belt, H&M, size xs (buy similar here)
Floral light-weight waist shorts, H&M, size 2 (buy similar here or here)
Taupe laced up booties, Forever 21, size 6 (buy similar here or here)
Birdie antique necklace, Urban Outfitters

Lately, I've been making great efforts in going out of my comfort zone when it comes to dressing up. Even if I'm not really going out anywhere special, I just try to dress up a little bit than my usual jeans and shirt. I try to mix up what I already have in my closet with some new things that I bought. I'm just glad that most of the stuff I've kept in my closet, I can still use until today.

I've began to love this cardigan. It's just so bright! Bright colors do help with the mood. It's also a really light material that it's perfect to wear during spring or summer time. I've had this for as long as I can remember, but I probably wore it only a couple of times. As for my bottoms, the shorts actually made me worry since they're so light and I felt they were a little too short. I actually ended up really liking them. They feel more liberating to wear. It's like you're wearing nothing. Yep, it's that light.

On a random note, an Anonymous reader asked if I had a LookBook.nu account. I actually don't. I only have a Chictopia account (add me), but I always forget to upload there too. But is it just me or is there just so many social media outlet to keep up with?

How else would you style the yellow cardigan or the floral printed waist shorts?

NuMe Ionic Blow Dryer (Review)

Throughout my college years, my hair was short. I'm not quite sure what was in my head at the time when I decided to ultimately chop my long, thick hair into a bob. But, for all four years of undergrad, I kept it above shoulder length.

Fast forward to post graduate years, and I made it into a mission to grow out my hair. Having longer hair is more manageable for me in terms of styling. It's easier to wear it curly or straight. Even if I'm having a bad hair day, an easy fix would be throwing it up in a bun. One thing I dread the most is drying my hair when I wash my hair especially before going to bed.

I needed a blow dryer that'll do the job quick.
