A way overdue post. But as I had mentioned on my previous post, here's a more detailed post of what I actually wore for Christmas.

Lookbook: Collared Batwing Blouse + MAB Mini Purse

So since my photographer/boyfriend was unavailable today to take my weekend outfit pictures, I had to rely on my iPhone and a dressing room mirror instead. Blogger problems.

Lookbook: Ugly Sweater and Waxy Pants

You might have seen this outfit if you've seen my most recent JewelMint review video. I think the reason why I love this outfit so much out of the three is because of this ugly sweater.

Lookbook: Yellow Beanie and Liquid Leggings

Last Saturday wasn't exactly the best time to go outdoor shopping because of the fact that it was gloomy and there was a chance of shower. So for preemptive measures, I bundled up and prepared for rain.

Lookbook: Polka Dot Skirt and Chambray Shirt

Over the weekend, I spent half a day at Santee Alley in Downtown LA with my friend Heart. Even though Santee Alley is only a few minutes away from where I live, I've only gone a handful of times.

Lookbook: Black and Gold + Black Furry Vest

My lovely friend, Heart, gifted me with this black furry number. She actually got this for me during the summer, so I've been anxiously waiting for fall so I could finally wear it. I love the extra texture that it adds to a plain outfit.

I have received a few inquiries about this emerald blouse that I wore during the Beautylish Beauty Social. So here's the nitty gritty on it.

Lookbook: New York Minute

I can't believe that a week ago from today, I was roaming the streets of New York. The whole thing ended before it even hit me that I was physically in one of the greatest cities in the world.

StyleHaul/Armani Exchange/TeenVogue Video + Giveaway

Hello from New York!

I'm currently on vacation right now, but I just have to quickly share this to everyone!

A few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to style three different outfits for three different looks along with two other girls from two different cities. It was just a great way for all three of us to showcase our personal style. It was a really great experience and I love every moment of it! It was nice to have a whole store where you can pick and choose whatever pieces you like to put together an outfit. It was like a dream come true!

Check out our video:

I'll have a haul and giveaway video coming up in a bit, but for now, here's my latest giveaway (which I decided to extend a little longer, giveaway ends Sunday, October 16).

I just want to say THANK YOU to every single one of my readers and viewers! I'm blessed with opportunities such as this because of your support and love. Thank you a million times for reading my blog posts and watching my videos. I love you all to pieces!

Last Sunday, the bf and I went to Little Tokyo to satisfy our Shabu Shabu cravings. I was glad that the weather was cool enough for me to wear this faux-fur vest again.

Lookbook: Inspired by the Boys + Review: Aldo Lapilio Loafers

I have been on a lookout for loafers. For some reason, I really like their look despite it having that masculine look and feel to it. It's kinda like my whole obsession with oxford shoes.

Lookbook: Good-bye Summer + Review: ASOS HONOR Two Part High Sandals

Last Friday officially marks the last day of summer and beginning of Fall. I've been over this heat wave that we've been having in SoCal for awhile and have been looking forward to cooler weather mid-way summer. I'm happy that the weather is getting a little cooler which means I can finally wear my Fall clothing which I shopped for a month ago.

Lookbook: Elevate + Makeup Tutorial: Nicki Minaj "Fly" Music Video Inspired Look

This past weekend was a friend's birthday and we all celebrated at Elevate Lounge in Downtown LA. It was my first time there, and I must say that it's one of the nicest lounge I've been to here in Los Angeles. Open windows on a 21st floor that overlooks the sky scrappers of LA on a summer night is a pretty sweet spot for me.

Wet 'N Wild 3-Pan Color Icon Palette (Review and Swatches)

So for the longest time, I've had these palettes stashed in my drawer. I took advantage of a previous Buy One Get One Free at my local Rite Aid by getting whatever palettes my hands can grab.

I have to admit that I was a little bit weary of trying these eyeshadows out. I have tried Wet N' Wild products before and I found them to be either too sheer or too chalky for my liking. So these palettes were definitely a sweet surprise when I found out that they were much better in quality than I had expected.

Last Sunday, my family and I took my mom to lunch for her birthday at The Stinking Rose. After lunch we decided to head out to Santa Monica at the 3rd Street Promenade for some shopping.

And who would've thought that day would turn out the way it did. After my brother shot some pictures for me to post on to this blog, I was approached by Work it, Berk who was also contributor for Refinery29!!!

Shopping: Steve Madden Shoe Sale + 30% Off

Sunday night and I find myself yet again doing some online shopping.

It almost slipped my mind that Steve Madden is having a sale up to 50% off on select shoes. Not to mention, they're also having a 30% off discount on all purchases with the code FALL30 which expires Tuesday, September 6! I almost missed out on the shoes I've had my eyes on.

Madee in Black Pony (on sale $79.95 (select colors); orig. $119.95; with code $55.97)

I originally wanted this style in leopard print which I've tried on in stores. As much as I loved the leopard print, it made more sense to me to get the black pony hair ones. I was thinking that I will be able to actually wear these shoes to work since my Sam Edelman patent flats has been worn to death (and has survived a dog chewing). I also really love the look, feel, and texture of the pony hair and I can cross out loafers off my list.
Westii in Leopard (on sale $69.95 (select colors); orig. $119.95; with code $48.97)

I have been lusting over Anh's (9to5chic) Miu Miu leopard heels ever since I saw it on her blog. I've been on a look-out for something similar that's not so painful for my wallet and on my soles. And then, I saw these leopard print wedges... on sale! Since these are wedges, I figured that they'll be way more comfortable to walk with. The reviews on the Steve Madden website seemed to say so too. I really wanted to get the black suede one as well, but sadly they no longer carry it in my size.

Did anything catch your eyes?

Nail Tutorial: Ombre + Color Blocking Nail

This nail art tutorial was inspired by Lauren Conrad's ombre nails and everything that's ombre lately. I decided to add the black nail polish tips to also give it a color blocking effect. I chose the color orange just because I'm just that eager to be fall already :).

I was a little happy that it was a tad colder in Orange County the night we went to the OC Fair. It gave me a reason to use my new floral infinity scarf that I recently bought at H&M.

Shopping: H&M Shoe Picks (Fall 2011)

Yesterday, I moseyed over to H&M to check out any new stuff they may have. And guess what, I ended up with three shoes in my bag among other things. But for solely this post, it'll be all about shoes.

*Will post the item numbers for the shoes later. Post updated with item numbers.

The reason why I impulsively bought three pairs of shoes was because small shoe sizes are hard to come by at H&M. I have to be really, really lucky or be there when the shoes have just arrived. So for me to actually find sizes that fit on the style that I like there's really no I'll-think-about-it-and-come-back-for-it-later kind of thing. I just bought it and if I feel meh about it when I get home, it's always easy to return it (as long as it hasn't been worn).

I have tiny feet. Usually the tiny sizes are the first to go, and all I will be left with are either a bunch of sizes 7 or 10 which neither fit my soles. I'm usually a size 6 but for some reason a size US 5 (EUR 36) at H&M fits me the best. Like I said, my size is hard to come by when looking for it in stores.

Beauty Review and Swatches: Urban Decay 15-Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection

I wanted to see what the buzz was about surrounding this palette. I've seen a couple of reviews prior to purchasing it on the day Urban Decay released it. Boasting fifteen new colors and a sick ass packaging, no time was wasted adding this in my cart.

NYX Super Skinny eye Marker in Carbon Black (Review)

Eyeliner is essential in my makeup bag. I used to be a gel liner user up until I discovered the convenience of liquid eyeliner (as I have also mentioned in my previous review). Prior to using NYX's Super Skinny eye Marker, I used something similar which is the e.l.f Waterproof Eyeliner Pen.

NYXclusiveTV Interview

Do you guys remember my tour at the NYX Cosmetics headquarters for an interview? Well here it is. Ok you can clearly tell that I was a nervous wreck for the whole duration of this video but this was my first interview. Ever. In life. But it was such a pleasure to be invited inside the NYX Cosmetics headquarters where it's almost as good as going to Disneyland after seeing a massive makeup collection in one room.

Thank you NYX Cosmetics for the lovely opportunity!
