Oversized Scarf and Maxi Skirt + My New Baby :)

This is a probably long delayed post, but if you follow me on Instagram (@yummiebitez), you probably had a sneak peak of my biggest fashion-related purchase. This past Valentine's Day, as a gift to myself, I finally purchased my first Chanel bag.

Lookbook: Abstract Skirt

I've had this skirt for the longest I can remember. At the time, I was really attracted to the print when I saw it, but not quite sure how to wear it, yet I bought it anyway. Just like most of the clothes and stuff I own, it took me awhile before this skirt saw daylight.

I've previously worn this skirt in one of my previous lookbok post (by the way, I'm just thinking "what the heck was I thinking wearing that before?" And then I shake my head).

Thank you Forever 21 for inviting me to the opening of the new wing in Santa Monica! My friend and I had fun getting our nails done, getting our DIY on, and shopping for her outfit. They also let me plug my blog around the store by picking a few items around the store with a sign that has my blog name on it. Pretty cool!

Banana Republic Mad Men 2nd Edition Preview Party

Last Wednesday, Banana Republic has invited me to their Spring preview for their Mad Men Collection in one of the Mad Men cast member's private residence. This is my first fashion event that I ever attended, so you can only imagine how excited I was.

1. Outside
2. New Banana Republic Mad Men Spring collection
3. Inspired by clean lines and country club look
4. Finger food
5. Kiernan Shipka (Sally Dapper)
6. BR Mad Men
7. Hanging out with Wendy and Kelly
8. With Wendy and Dulce
9. Some of my favorite fashion bloggers in the flesh: KeikoLynn, LateAfternoon, and B.Jones Style. I look so miniature next to them.

I also saw Rumi Neely at the event. AHH, you can only imagine how nervous I was when I realized she was standing next to me. I was kinda sad I didn't get to take a picture with her. She's one of the first bloggers that inspired me when I first started. It was just a little surreal being the same room as her. I know, what a fan girl I am.

Thank you Banana Republic for inviting me to this event!!
