One of the main ways to stay cool in Palm Springs is to wear the least amount of clothing possible. When it's over 100 degrees outside, walking around naked sounds ideal, but not publicly appropriate. Tops with some sort of ventilation (aka holes) and light weight material makes a world of a difference.  So this cute eyelet top and crepe shorts was in order in times like this.

These past few weeks has been a whirlwind for me, so a couple of days in Palm Springs with the girls to unwind and relax for the long Labor Day weekend was in order. Aside from taking advantage of the nice Palm Springs back drop to take pictures, we absolutely did nothing but lay out by the pool to stay cool. Going out of town for a few days was the vacation I needed. I haven't had the chance to just do nothing or not have to worry about anything. It's nice to just shut down for a couple of days and just enjoy the company and surroundings. And despite all the craziness that life throws at us, just like the sign preaches, everything will be ok.
