Can we just talk about how hot it's been lately? It seems like summer just came into full-swing these past couple of weeks. It's been really hot that I've been living off shorts and shirts with holes on the weekends. And this tee takes the cake as being one of my current favorites. Not to mention, it's a loose fitting shirt. WIN.

I've been all about loose fitting pieces. Especially anything that has boyfriend in front of it (boyfriend jeans, boyfriend shorts, boyfriend shirt, boyfriend blazer). It might not be the most flattering fit, but sometimes I just prefer to have my clothes just loosely drape over me. There are days when I just want to be comfortable or dress a bit like a tomboy (like here).

So this rounds up my Palm Springs outfit post. I opted for a more relaxed outfit since we were driving back to LA. I didn't want to feel fussy during the sad drive back home.

On a somewhat related note, I'm currently watching Sam Smith's iTunes Festival performance (watch it here, you're welcome) as I'm writing this blog post. And it's bumming me out that I won't be able to see him live at the Greek Theater. I say it's somewhat related since this was the album that we played for the most part on our drive to and from Palm Springs. The album evokes so much emotion that you can really feel whatever Sam Smith was feeling that moment. He's definitely one of my favorites right now, and he can serenade me any time he wants.

This shirt might have been a little too Hawaiian for Palm Springs, but I've been really liking ridiculously looking prints for summer. Speaking of summer, I'm kinda sad that it's almost over! But, I'm looking forward to fall season since it'll be time to bundle up. But then again, I live in LA where it's basically summer year round.

I have a slight love affair with these shorts. My friend, Crystal, let me raid her closet one day while I was at her place, and I immediately fell in love with them (I wore it to brunch here). I just love how bright and fun the abstract print on the shorts was. So when we planned our Palm Springs trip, I asked her if I can borrow the same shorts again. The perks of having friends with an awesome closet.
