Chambray Off the Shoulder Top for Spring

When the sun is out, the shoulders come out. I'm currently having the a moment with using the bandana either in place of necklace or choker or layering it with a necklace, especially if I'm wearing an off the shoulder top. I know that Coachella is long gone and done, but I wouldn't mind wearing this when I'm out romping around town.

I like that this off the shoulder top from Morrisday the Label has an elastic band all around to keep the top up especially for me since I'm more on the smaller bust size (president of the itty bitty community). I don't find the elastic uncomfortable while I'm wearing it throughout the day. It also doesn't slide off my chest. It's just the right amount of snug to keep my chest covered.

I feel like we're getting a little taste of fall today as it was cooler than usual. As I took the little gremlin (my dog, Lionel Bean) out for a walk, I felt the cool but crisp breeze outside. It was a nice change since I'm so ready for the cooler weather (and the layering).

Denim Shift

It may not look like it, but deep down I'm excited that I finally found a cute denim shift dress. This dress didn't make it in any of the haul videos that posted recently since I had to wait for this to get shipped to my house for quite some time. I've been on a lookout for one for awhile now and this also happens to be on sale! Not to mention, I'm always down for dresses with pockets. And how cute is the fringe detail on the edges of the dress? I had to pull my fringe booties out to keep a fringe theme going.





I decided to keep it simple for the day since I was just hanging out with my friend. I wanted the focus to be on the actual dress so I kept the accessories to a minimum. This bag from Sole Society came in handy to stuff all my belongings with the things I bought that day. I love how roomy this tote is and how it's a great everyday bag when you're going in between places.

There's only five days left to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Once August 8 comes around, the prices go back up (and I'll stop talking about it :P)! I know that's all I seem to be talking about lately these days, but it's one of my favorite shopping "holiday" (aside from Black Friday and Christmas shopping). There are just so many brand-new arrivals on sale right now to get you ready for fall, and I wouldn't want you to miss out on the great prices. Most of the items that I purchased can easily transition from summer to fall, and I've been wearing most of the things that recently bought. Coachella Day Two: I wore this little number to run around the festival grounds. I love how this romper borderline looks like a sleepwear which also makes it that much comfortable to wear. And my favorite part of it is the dainty lace detail on the edge of the romper.

Can you believe that March is nearly over?! We're already a quarter down through the year. Is it just me or time just seem to go by faster and faster as you get older?

I recently picked up these BCBG leopard pumps from DSW, and these are probably what my closet has been missing. This style also comes in a metallic color which is similar to the Jimmy Choos that Anna Kendrick threw at Jack Black across the stage during their Oscars opening performance. By the way, that was probably my favorite Oscars opening since it was with my two favorites, Neil Patrick Harris and Anna Kendrick. But, I digress.

In my attempts to maximize my closet, I'm trying to be good about wearing what I currently have. Sometimes, looking at my closet can be a little overwhelming that I end up with this mindset that I absolutely have nothing to wear. When in fact, I can probably put a thousand outfits together. I recently re-discover this fuzzy sweater. You may have last seen the sweater (about a year ago) in this post here.

If there's an era where I can go back in time to live again, it'll be the nineties. Maybe I'm a little biased since I was a 90s kid, but let's be honest, that was the best time period to be in. And in terms of fashion, grunge is probably my favorite trend/look. What can I say, I like dressing up borderline disheveled sometimes. And I'm glad that grunge is sticking around for awhile.

Can we just talk about how hot it's been lately? It seems like summer just came into full-swing these past couple of weeks. It's been really hot that I've been living off shorts and shirts with holes on the weekends. And this tee takes the cake as being one of my current favorites. I've been all about loose fitting pieces. Especially anything that has boyfriend in front of it (boyfriend jeans, boyfriend shorts, boyfriend shirt, boyfriend blazer). It might not be the most flattering fit, but sometimes I just prefer to have my clothes just loosely drape over me. There are days when I just want to be comfortable or dress a bit like a tomboy (like here).
