So rugged, yet so comfortable. Last Saturday, we randomly decided to go to the Mad Decent block party in Downtown LA...

Nail Tutorial: Ombre + Color Blocking Nail
Posted by
Anne Di
This nail art tutorial was inspired by Lauren Conrad's ombre nails and everything that's ombre lately. I decided to add the black nail polish tips to also give it a color blocking effect. I chose the color orange just because I'm just that eager to be fall already :).

Lookbook: Ombre

I was a little happy that it was a tad colder in Orange County the night we went to the OC Fair. It gave me a reason to use my new floral infinity scarf that I recently bought at H&M.

Weekly Five #2: Lionel Bean

It's been over a year since I got this little rascal. And everyday, he never ceases to amaze me with his quirky attitude. Even though he can be a handful sometimes, he seems to bring out the smiles out of everyone during their darkest times. Here are my top five Lionel Bean pictures for the past few weeks.

Shopping: H&M Shoe Picks (Fall 2011)
Posted by
Anne Di
Yesterday, I moseyed over to H&M to check out any new stuff they may have. And guess what, I ended up with three shoes in my bag among other things. But for solely this post, it'll be all about shoes.
*Will post the item numbers for the shoes later. Post updated with item numbers.
The reason why I impulsively bought three pairs of shoes was because small shoe sizes are hard to come by at H&M. I have to be really, really lucky or be there when the shoes have just arrived. So for me to actually find sizes that fit on the style that I like there's really no I'll-think-about-it-and-come-back-for-it-later kind of thing. I just bought it and if I feel meh about it when I get home, it's always easy to return it (as long as it hasn't been worn).
I have tiny feet. Usually the tiny sizes are the first to go, and all I will be left with are either a bunch of sizes 7 or 10 which neither fit my soles. I'm usually a size 6 but for some reason a size US 5 (EUR 36) at H&M fits me the best. Like I said, my size is hard to come by when looking for it in stores.

I finally took my maxi skirt out for a spin, which would be the same maxi skirt that I purchased about a few months ago.

Haul: Fall Shopping at H&M
Posted by
Anne Di
Can't be too early right? If you haven't seen this video, well, here are some of my fall picks from H&M. So many good stuff that I feel like I have to go back soon for round two!
I love, love fall. It's my favorite out of the four seasons (not just because my birthday is around fall time hah). Not too cold, not too hot. Not to mention the browns, oranges, and the neutrals. I wish LA actually has seasons, but at least I still get to see the leaves change color. What's there not to love about fall, anyway? So ready for the cooler weather! This unbearable heat is not doing my makeup and my outfits any good.

Beauty Review and Swatches: Urban Decay 15-Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection
Posted by

I wanted to see what the buzz was about surrounding this palette. I've seen a couple of reviews prior to purchasing it on the day Urban Decay released it. Boasting fifteen new colors and a sick ass packaging, no time was wasted adding this in my cart.
