Military Jacket for Spring + Litas

This is embarrassing. But, I have so many back-up outfit posts from two months ago that I haven't posted... including this. This look might seem familiar to you already if you've seen my previous video on my YouTube channel. But anyway, this is what I wore about almost two months ago when I went to the Amplify 2013 concert. My Jeffrey Campbell Litas are staples for me when I go to a concert.

... and for obvious reasons. They give me the height that I need since I only stand 5'1" tall. For towering shoes, these are super comfortable. Even more comfortable if you put an insole inside for extra cushion. I've worn these shoes for five hours straight of standing up while I waited and watched Justin Timberlake at the Hollywood Palladium.

This might as well be sketched in (a new blog that I found which is genius, btw) Shit Bloggers Wear as the Litas have been done so many times... over and over again. But I still choose to wear them and still love them to this day. They've been my go-to shoes when going to a club in Hollywood (I prefer the non stiletto route) and to any place that I might need a little elevation.

They've been through so many spilled drinks (which I don't mind since I can easily wipe it off) Late night shenanigans because they're comfortable enough to stay married to my feet.

Anyway, I'm not quite ready to let my Litas go. These shoes pretty much go with everything in my wardrobe right now.

  1. I'm waiting for my tiger print Litas to arrive. I would've had them last week, but Karmaloop sent me a pair with cracks in the heels. I want to order the Lita with the steel cap next.

  4. Cool combo. Never seen anything like this. The ruffled shorts with the military jacket looks interesting together.

Don't worry. I have backup outfits and photos too. Hard to find time to blog everything.
